29 Boulevard
29 Boulevard was announced in 2007 and consists of two 45 storey buildings located right behind The Residences. 29 Boulevard stands prominently along Mohammad bin Rashid Boulevard.. Delivered in 2013. Residential Building with some retail.
29 Boulevard has one of the best location in Downtown – and is commented to have more distinct architecture then of all the non-hotel buildings in Downtown (as most Emaar projects have a strong resemblance with one another.
Studio, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom high-end apartments along the Boulevard.
When the global financial crisis hit Dubai in late 2008/09, this project was yet to get off ground. In the following months there were constant rumors of its cancellation and a number of groups were formed to urge payment restructuring. The developer, Emaar, eventually offered discounts and revised payment plans to investors and restarted construction in 2010. In 2012, with market conditions having improved, Emaar sold out units on payment plan in the soon to be delivered 29 Boulevard. The project was delivered in 2013 and was one of the most actively traded buildings in Downtown between 2013 – mid-2014. The project has since matured.
